The Sindh Assembly approved the commissionerate system on Wednesday amidst a dramatic display of protest by leaders of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM).
The session chaired by Speaker Shehla Raza also approved the Sindh Local Government Ordinance 1979, the Sindh Police Act 1861 and the Land Revenue Ordinance, 2011.
