Be extremely careful when changing the needles! You may want to cut the needle's hook and the latch before removing it (if it is broken). If the broken part of the needle falls somewhere between the other needles, use a magnet to remove it. When you are pulling the needle it must come out smoothly/flawlessly. Don't pull hard or force the needle because you may damage the retaining spring and then you have to replace it.
