Have you ever tried to not let things or weather stop you from doing something you want to? Because you feel this is the right time & you just let everything happen on its own!

Well despite the monsoon season in Phobjikha, me & my cousin sister Deki who hardly packed anything for the trip booked our last minute tickets to Wangdue🤣 As usual I overpacked stuffs in my luggage bag well yes yes who would take a trolley bag for a two nights trip but I do okay.

Phobjikha was like 2 hours away from Bajo Town & we stayed the night at the farmhouse in Gangtey. You really can’t see Phobjikha from Gangtey unless you climb quite a numbered stairs of the Gangtey Shedra temple rooftop.

First day was quite cozy & it rained after we finished visiting all the shrines inside Gangtey Goenpa & you know what my cousin prayed for🥹? She prayed for no rain the next day & guess what it didn’t rain for another two days in which we extended one extra day🙌

We visited Khewang Lhakhang which is at the base of the Gangtey Nature Trails & we were treated so well with delicious food & warm welcome🙏🙆‍♀️ After lunch, we walked through the trails & it stopped raining & the weather started getting lot better. I kept on hoping for a better weather like that of in the afternoon. Then we visited Ngenlung Drechaling; a Shechen nunnery & I came across so many crows on a roof of a hut minding their business. Then I was told about the story of the pig river & the snake river lol🤣 Interestingly I am coming up with the vlog, you will get to understand the difference of this two rivers; I felt amazed though😬

On the second day, as soon as I woke up😂 do you know what I did? I checked the sky through the window & to my surprise, wow that damn blue sky🥹 We would plan to go to the Black Necked Crane center & met the Crane Karma & Pema & yes I was gifted with one of their feather (jk I don’t know if it’s cranes or crows but I am hoping it’s of one of the crane🥲) I watched people do picnic & cattles grazing through binoculars, that was a new experience & I wondered a pair of binoculars made a lot of difference in how I watched this two events happening😃
Later we would take a lot of pictures & videos & walked a lot🙌

On the third day, we visited Gangtey Shedra & had our lunch there then yes off to Bajo Town & we took a cab to Thimphu😭

I consider this short trip to Phobjikha Valley a beautiful event in my life; witnessing the power of prayers, my trust in the universe & encountering so many experienced spiritual people who helped us in so many different ways & I would like to thank them for making everything go smoothly & comfortably. I take this time to hoping to see everyone again in good health & yes I’m definitely going back either in autumn or spring to watch the black necked crane, the Birds of Heaven wonder in Phobjikha Valley🥹🙆‍♀️
