Midyat Guest House is the one of the most important examples of Midyat stone architecture. The first floor and cave section are dated to 1850. It was built on the highest point of Midyat and has become the symbol of Midyat today. In 1930, 1948, and 1950, additions were made to the building. It has hosted dozens of local and foreign series, films, and television programs such as Sıla and Hercai (Instant Love).

I heard it could get very crowded with the visitors. I strongly recommend to go when it opens in the morning.
