St Thomas' Episcopal School is a K-12 school (i.e. both primary and secondary) based in Houston, Texas. The school has a strong Scottish Arts Program which includes piping, drumming and Highland dancing. The current Pipe Band Director is Lyric Todkill, who studied piping at Carnegie Mellon University with Alasdair Gillies, and was one of the very first graduates in piping from the university.
The band is in Scotland for the World Pipe Band Championships and it was great to see and hear the band play at the North Berwick Highland Games in the Juvenile Grade competition. This was an MSR competition and the band's set was:
March: Balmoral Highlanders (Angus Mackay, 1812 - 1859)
Strathspey: Ewe wi' the Crooked Horn (traditional)
Reel: The Sheepwife (traditional)
