Bambarakanda Falls is Sri Lanka's tallest waterfall (263m/863ft), located near Kalupahana in the Badulla District, formed by the Kuda Oya (a Walawe River tributary) flowing from the Horton Plains. A scenic spot for nature lovers, it's reached via a 5km gravel road off the A4, offering views of pine forests and rugged terrain, with a small entrance fee for paths leading closer to the pool.
