The Sawed-off Shotgun is a weapon featured in Red Dead Redemption 2 and Red Dead Online. The Peeters & Janssens Sawed-Off is a versatile shotgun that can be used easily with one hand or dual wielded to great effect. There is a bottle of gin on one of the tables, and if the player picks it up, the bartender will attack the player, meaning that the player can obtain the weapon from him after defeating him. In Online, this shotgun is available for purchase at all gunsmiths after reaching rank 19. A unique skin is also available for online players in the Moonshiner role.

This is notably the weapon of choice for Charles Smith. He has a custom model, featuring a white varnish and a black, steel barrel. Additionally, Charles is the only member of the gang to wield a shotgun as their primary weapon in place of a revolver. Unlike other shotguns, this one occupies a holster/handgun slot, in contrast with the previous game's version. The shotgun appears to be based upon those manufactured by the now-defunct arms manufacturer known as Victor Sarasqueta, although a sawn off variation of a Víctor Sarasqueta shotgun is exceedingly rare as it is said to spoil the value of the weapon itself.
