Even the slightest of movements can create an entirely new idea, changing the way we perceive a moment. Now days, the camera can pretty much move in every single direction imaginable. And combined with digital effects, the camera can venture into impossible locations.
At the end of the day, however, there are four basic, core camera moves that every film lover (and potential filmmaker) should be familiar with: the pan, the tilt, the boom, and the dolly.
