In this video I provide analysis of the Russian Ruble and discuss the impact of the recent strengthening on the Russian Economy. The usual assumption is that a Strong Currency is beneficial to the Economy however this is not necessarily the case. What does a STRONG RUBLE mean for Russia given the fact that it has EXPORTS more than it IMPORTS and in view of the TRADE SANCTIONS from the West? Could a Strong Ruble actually be detrimental to Russia?
