During the BNL Internationals Tennis competition in Rome, light, colour and energy transformed the majestic facade of Palazzo Poli and the iconic statues of the Trevi Fountain. Behind this projection mapping show is the work of PROIETTA, which faced a complex technical and creative challenge unique in its kind.
Our team installed a system of several high-brightness video projectors discreetly positioned inside Proietta's air-conditioned boxes, so as to preserve the aesthetic impact of the technologies in the square. The design of the video content was aimed at creating a unique marriage between the city and the sporting event, from the choice of the soundtrack to the animations, every detail was taken care of to blend the majesty of classicism with the dynamism and energy of sport.
It was an honour to help make one of the world's most famous tourist destinations even more stunning.
