Genetic, linguistic, archaeological evidence all show that Indigenous peoples of Turtle Island have closest relatives in East Asia. For 400 years, Europeans have been claiming our lands, and today, others are claiming origins for which they have no evidence. One thing is for sure, Indigenous Peoples of Turtle Island are rooted in this land, which is what matters.
