I remembered making these cookies for raya about 15 years ago and it was gone almost immediately after I started serving it to my guests 🥰  Today I’m sharing with you this recipe which I had tweaked over the years to my liking 😊 I hope you would try it for this coming raya and love it too ❤

Preheat oven to 160°C for 15 mins

Yield : 66-68 pcs

\\ Ingredients

150g     butter
70g         brown sugar
1           egg
1tsp      vanilla essence
165g     plain flour
15g       cocoa powder
20g       desiccated coconut (can substitute with cornflakes or pecans if you don’t have this)
60g       cornflakes
55g       pecans
120g     chocolate compound + couverture (see explanation in video)
15g       butter
