Описание: This is the story of my grandmother Irene "Reny" Bletterman Van West and her experience growing up in the former colony of Indonesia. As a child she grew up in luxury but after the Japanese invaded during the outbreak of World War II, her entire life changed as she became a prisoner of war in several concentration camps as a youth. I interviewed her for my Art and War class back in 2013. She passed in 2016 and I wanted to keep the memory of her alive through this video.
