Made around 1959-1963 at the famous Main Plant in Elgin, Illinois, the largest watchmaking facility in the world. Substantial 33 mm diameter solid 14k gold case made for Elgin by Jonell Case Co. of New York. Fancy hooded lugs and a unique dial type only known to have been used with this version. One of the technological and aesthetic pinnacles of the last days of American watchmaking, extremely rare.
