As a tie-in to one of my Facebook/Cartoon Research friends posting an article about Disney's Three Little Pigs being released on record, the Big Bad Wolf decided to compare such a record adaptation with the real cartoon. This time it is the 1978 version of Disneyland Records' read-along book-and-audio set of the Three Little Pigs. (This one I had as a kid.) Like the 1965 version, it has the same illustrations from that 1948 Little Golden Book adaptation with the freaky illustrations of the strange-looking wolf, and also utilizes that same strange re-recording of "Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf" with the girlish Practical Pig voice and the menacing wolf voice. Of course, the "real" Big Bad Wolf isn't too pleased about THAT!
