It was during the Holi festival and we were looking for a fun spot, away from the crowds, easy to reach and enjoy a peaceful holiday. That’s when we decided to go to Mid Hill Agro Farm Resort in Palungtar, Gorkha. This is where we celebrated New Year’s earlier and knew that it would be a perfect team getaway.

Based on the concept of Agro and Sustainable Tourism, Mid Hill Agro Farm is a family friendly weekend getaway. Our next destination from here was Ligligkot, the historic location where the unification process of Nepal began. It is the same Ligligkot where Magars used to race every year to select a King/Leader to rule their land. King Drabya Shah, who was the youngest son of Kind Rainas, wanted to have a kingdom of his own and eventually got it by taking part in the race, winning it and becoming the King of Liglig. The Rest is history.
