Mukul Roy's elevation as national vice-president has irked a section of BJP leadership in West Bengal. Roy got promoted after party's national working president JP Nadda announced the names of new office bearers on Saturday.
Taking serious exception to the move, former state BJP president and party senior leader Rahul Sinha has openly revolted. "I have served the BJP for 40 years. I have been a loyal soldier of the party from its inception, but today I have to leave my post to make way for TMC leaders. Nothing can be more painful than this," Sinha said. Watch full bulletin.
