Matteo Franceschi De Marchi, or Dema to his friends, was born in Varese, Italy, into a family of musicians. Growing up surrounded by music, he learned to play various instruments, including piano and guitar, from a young age. Over time, he developed a passion for Reggae and Dancehall music. This led him to join the Varese collective Yaga Youthz Sound as a DJ and sound engineer. Later, he also became part of the legendary hip-hop group Stato Brado Crew as a DJ and producer. As they say, some loves come full circle. After a nearly 10-year hiatus from the music scene, during which he focused on his career in IT, Dema made his return in 2024. Now an independent DJ operating under the name MrDema, he's concentrating on techno music and its many facets.
