PICA, the Pallas’s cat International Conservation Alliance, is a partnership project led by Nordens Ark in collaboration with The Royal Zoological Society of Scotland and the Snow Leopard Trust, and supported by Fondation Segré. The PICA team were thrilled to present at the 2020 online Global Snow Leopard Ecosystem Protection Programme (GSLEP) Steering Committee meeting and raise awareness of the charismatic Pallas’s cat. We hope to continue exciting discussions about the many ways in which joint conservation efforts for the Pallas’s cat and its larger cousin, the snow leopard, can benefit both these amazing cat species and the special mountain habitats that they call home.
