CHOCOLATE CAKE RECIPE:

Ingredients:
• 112 g butter (softened)
• 40 g oil
• 160 g granulated sugar
• 8 g vanilla extract
• 2 large eggs + 1 egg yolk
• 220 g all-purpose flour
• 36 g unsweetened cocoa powder
• 10 g baking powder
• 205 g milk
• 6 g salt

Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F).
Grease and line your pan.
2. Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
3. Mix in the oil.
4. Add the eggs and extra yolk, one at a time. Mix well after each.
5. Stir in the vanilla extract.
6. In a separate bowl, whisk together:
flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
7. Add the dry ingredients to the batter in parts, alternating with the milk.
(Dry → milk → dry → milk)
8. Mix just until smooth. Do not overmix.
9. Pour into the pan (fill about 1/3–1/2 full if using your small heart pan).
10. Bake:

• Thin layers (2 cm): 12–15 minutes
• Thicker layers: 20–30 minutes

A toothpick should come out with moist crumbs, not wet batter.
