More of Jayme and King Creole ("Milo") working on the basics.
Much as I love Milo, I'm still endlessly amused by his tendency to want to self-shorten his stride... despite the fact that it's naturally quite long.
No surprise really, considering that 1) he hasn't been in hunter/jumper training but for about a year and 2) he was broken and initially trained as a Western Pleasure/Trail horse, and taught a collected lope. It manifests when he half-halts his own self, and waits for the "baby spot."
He's still such a fun ride though! So honest, and brave-- he'll try jumping just about anything, despite having so little experience thus far. So different than anything at this age (4.5yrs-old) that either of us have experienced, seeing as we're used to OTTBs.
Looooooove this guy. Hope you all do too!
