Today I'm revisiting the Horizontal design, more commonly known as a long and low or table centre arrangement. I first looked at this arrangement in t my 'Back to Basics' series which aims to teach the basic design shapes in traditional flower arranging/floristry. In this video I teach you about the Horizontal design using just one type of fresh flower along with a transitional flower and contrasting foliage and guide you step-by-step from start to finish. This time the design is less formal using just a pretty spray rose to create a design to sit on the front of the bride and groom at their wedding
Look back at the 'Back to Basics' series is ideal for beginners looking to train as a florist or start a new hobby with arranging flowers. These tutorial videos are also suitable for intermediate arrangers looking to update their skills.
