The Fishing Pole Trap is one of the easiest traps for white to fall for. Grandmasters have often lost to club players at the hands of the fishing pole.
If a player is unfamiliar with the fishing pole the number of ways to hang themselves is sometimes too great and the game can end quickly.

But, in this game, we will see how Black can be trapped in the commonly known trap for White.
This trap happens in the Giuoco Piano Opening where white gives its Bishop to white. And, if black takes then it's all over for him.
