On Wednesday, May 16th, Selena Gomez and PUMA threw the most IG worthy event of the season to celebrate their latest training silhouette, the DEFY. Held at Paramount Studios, the VIP only launch defied all aspects of a modern city with a laundry mat that doesn’t eat socks, a balloon filled gym with dancers choreographing Selena’s newest hit “Back To You”, a bodega with all you can eat candy, a 3D chalk mural and so much more! Selena, who officially opened the city, showed off her DEFYs while meeting fans and strutting down the streets of the unconventional city.
The DEFY was exclusively available for guests to shop in advance of its May 31st drop at DEFY CITY. Inspired by the resurgence of the chunky-shoe-trend, The shoe defies standards of training. Beyond style, the platform also fully supports side-to-side movement and PROFOAM provides lightweight cushioning, adding functionality to its design and bringing fashion to the gym and the streets.
