In this Unreal Engine 5 tutorial, Vylocity will show you how to create a material-based procedural decay system that allows you to add natural looking decay to your objects such as blood, grime, poison, etc. He'll also show you how to set up a simple exposure zone blueprint to apply the decay over time when in the zone and have it fade out when exiting.
