Bad news, everybody. It’s about Guy Hovis. He’s dead.
Throughout his career, he was a singer who performed on “The Lawrence Welk Show”.
But when something bad happened in Oxford, Mississippi, he went from being alive to being just dead.
So, with that being said, here’s an intro for “The Lawrence Welk Show”.
Running for 31 years on KTLA-TV. Channel 5 in Los Angeles, California, ABC and first-run syndication from Friday, May 11, 1951 to Saturday, April 17, 1982.
Currently, reruns of the show can be seen on select PBS stations across the country.
“The Lawrence Welk Show” was produced by KTLA-TV with Teleklew Productions and the American Broadcasting Company.
Rest in peace, Guy. We’ll all miss you.
