Описание: Umatac, recently renamed Humatak, is a small village on the southwestern side of Guam. Ferdinand Magellan landed in Umatac Bay in 1521 while circumnavigating the globe, unfortunately, this encounter ended badly. The local Chamorro's, after saving the starving crew, took goods for themselves, which was their custom, but Magellan interpreted it as theft and sent a raiding party ashore and killed a few Chamorro men and burnt the village to the ground and then fled the island. Nearby is Fouha Rock, which according to Chamorro legend is the point where everything was created.
