Hello and welcome to my latest video.
On 15th July 2021 I headed down once again on SWML, and I went to Basingstoke. It's a fantastic station, it great amount of variety of trains, which are seen by South Western Railway, Cross Country & GWR, also you have an hourly South Western Railway fast through service, and there is plenty of freight action as they pass there so often. And light diesel locomotive. The views are fantastic that looks to Southampton line, the best one for me is the curve line towards Reading, when you see Cross Country & Freights approaching. Station does has some good facilities. Overall Basingstoke is enjoyable station, has so much to offer there. And it will certainly will keep you on your toes a lot so you wouldn't get too board.
