The number of people seeking asylum on Switzerland’s eastern border has increased ten-fold over the past few months, but still remains low compared to neighbouring countries. Border patrols are being beefed up in Buchs and the Rhine valley, with inspections being carried out on trucks to stop people smuggling.(RTS/swissinfo.ch)
