Supercharger FAILURE ?! Rare C63 AMG Edition 507 Tear Down

Описание: This rare 4-door Mercedes C63 AMG Edition 507 came all the way from New York to Modern Masters Auto after the owner noticed a concerning rattling noise coming from the Kleemann supercharger. When a supercharger starts making noise, it can mean anything from worn bearings to internal damage — so we decided to tear into it and find out exactly what's going on.

In this video we perform a full top-end inspection on the legendary M156 AMG engine, along with a long list of preventative maintenance and performance upgrades to keep this 507 running strong.

While the engine is apart we’re installing several upgrades including VRP performance cams and VRP cam phaser plates, along with addressing some common issues we see on high-performance AMG builds.

During inspection we also discovered engine oil inside the supercharger, which can lead to internal damage and poor performance. To correct that, we're installing a new PCV system and catch can setup, along with rebuilding and resealing the Kleemann supercharger.

This car also receives several maintenance items while it’s here including:

• Motor mounts
• Fuel injectors
• Transmission service
• Full top-end inspection
• Kleemann supercharger rebuild & reseal
• VRP cams
• VRP cam phaser plates
• Updated PCV system
• Oil catch can installation

The Edition 507 C63 is already one of the most desirable M156 AMGs ever built, so keeping this one healthy is a top priority.
