UN Women Nigeria in partnership with the Federal Ministry of Women Affairs shines a light on what a future for many girls in Nigeria could look like if they were all given the right to an education in a context where so many girls are denied this right.
This video was produced with support from the joint EU-UN Spotlight Initiative, the UN Peacebuilding Fund, and the Government of Italy as part of the Generation Equality Campaign, which demands equal pay, equal sharing of unpaid care and domestic work, an end to sexual harassment and all forms of violence against women and girls, health-care services that respond to their needs, and their equal participation in political life and decision-making in all areas of life.
