Here are the best bits from a German made film called 'Out of order'. It was originally 90 minutes, but I've condenced it into about 36 mins (4 parts).
There are a few films out there about people stuck in lifts, but this is one of the best ones that I found.
Yes, you can pick bits out like:
It's impossible for the landing doors to open without the lift car being there
Always seems to be plenty of floors to fall, even though it travelled down from floor 25 and dropped once!
Can a screwdriver over take the lift and land in a 'control box?' at the bottom of the shaft and short it out?
...there are a few more, but I respect this film for not being one of those "everything has to blow up" type.
The acting is good and that old motor room is quite interesting! (and dark!)
There is an English dubbed version of this film, but I prefer the German version with subtitles (don't know why, but suppose it's because the film feels more genuine).
It's a good film, and still is my favourite lift film. Hope you enjoy it as I did (and still do).
