Police are investigating whether a Swiss couple were filming dolphins on a GoPro at a NSW beach when they were attacked by a shark.
A 25-year-old woman and her boyfriend was left fighting for life after the horror mauling at Kylies Beach in Crowdy Bay on the Mid North Coast on Thursday morning.
The man, aged 26, is believed to have fought off the shark and sustained injuries to his leg before dragging his dying girlfriend back to the shore of the unpatrolled beach.
