I had no plans to film this job at all because I was just told it was a C8 Corvette. But when I got to the shop, I realized it wasn't! At first glance, it's easy to assume this is just a regular C8 Corvette Stingray. BUT as you look around the car, you can see that the vinyl on the paint (from factory) tells you this thing is a Corvette Stingray R, and they make sure you can't miss it lol. Jokes aside, this is a really cool version of a C8 Vette. They focused on making this essentially the Race variant as you would see on the track. IE the wing, the bucket seats, custom wheels, Z51 package, overall not just the typical 3LT Model.

My favorite part is the paint. the C8.R came in either Accelerate Yellow OR this one. They call it Hypersonic Grey, and it for sure is a unique color. Looks grey, green, and cyan almost. Definitely the coolest color I've seen on a C8 thus far. The car was really low miles with little to no road damage on it, so the NEW owner brought it to us to get protected. Although we didn't correct / ceramic coat it, Tyler was able to get PPF thrown all over the front of the car where most of the action happens, and I sprayed on a Graphene Detailer to make sure it had some UV Protection, Gloss, and Hydrophobic properties.
