সিরাজগঞ্জ সদর উপজেলার বাগবাটীতে এখন জলপাইয়ের রমরমা বেচাকেনা! মৌসুমের শুরুতেই জমে উঠেছে টক-মিষ্টি জলপাইয়ের হাট। প্রতিদিনই ভোর থেকে সন্ধ্যা পর্যন্ত চলে ক্রেতা-বিক্রেতার ব্যস্ততা। এখান থেকেই পাইকারি ব্যবসায়ীরা জলপাই নিয়ে যাচ্ছেন দেশের বিভিন্ন জেলায়। এবছর শুধু সদর উপজেলাতেই ৩৪ হেক্টর জমিতে হয়েছে জলপাইয়ের আবাদ। কৃষকের মুখে হাসি, বাজারে প্রাণ—জমে উঠেছে সিরাজগঞ্জের বাগবাটির জলপাই হাট।
