In this public talk, Yohanan Yokamo presents the landscape of the cooperative sector in Ethiopia and its contributions to economic growth and social development in the country. Yohanan then introduces his forthcoming research study, which focuses on the roles of regulation and governance within Ethiopian cooperatives and possible issues that may arise from those regulation and governance structures.
About our speaker
Yohanan Yokamo is a visiting scholar at the University of Saskatchewan. He is the Director, International Relations & Alumni Affairs Directorate; and a Lecturer at the College of Law and Governance at Hawassa University (located in Hawassa, Ethiopia).
