There’s something really special happening inside several Springfield elementary schools.
Grace sits down with Kelly Baldwin from Cents of Pride, a nonprofit that partners with 16 local schools to reward students for positive behavior and attendance with “Pride Bucks”. Once a month, those students get to shop in a school store stocked with everything from fun items to essentials like shoes, coats, food, and hygiene products. What’s beautiful is how often these kids choose what their families truly need.
We also talk about their upcoming Bourbon Street Bash fundraiser on March 7th, a fun night out that helps keep these school stores stocked and serving local families.
