Описание: 🫁 Allergic rhinitis is the most prevalent immunological disease in the world. It affects about 400 million people, and severe disease has a profound impact on people's quality of life.

Despite increasing awareness of allergic rhinitis amongst the medical community, the condition remains largely underdiagnosed, suboptimally treated and poorly controlled. However, knowledge, therapies and management of Allergic Rhinitis have come on leaps and bounds.

Even though the mainstay of treatment remains intranasal and oral glucocorticosteroids and antihistamines, what role can allergen immunotherapy and biologics play in refining and improving treatment? And what does dual therapy look like using both AIT and Biologics? Are these the panacea that have been predicted?

In this debate, we'll discuss where we stand about Allergen Specific Immunotherapy (AIT) and biologics in patients with allergic rhinitis.
