SAUSAGE AND ONION EGG NOODLES | Richard in the kitchen

Описание: In this video, I show y'all how to make sausage and onion egg noodles. Sautéed onions and garlic with seared smoked pork sausage over buttered egg noodles. When you're unsure what to cook just throw these simple ingredients together and in less than 30 minutes you have an easy to make delicious meal.

Shopping List:
Servings: 2-3

4 cups eggs noodles (dry)
1 link smoked pork sausage, sliced about 1/2 inch then quartered
1/2 medium size sweet onion, roughly sliced
2 tsp. minced garlic
1 tbsp. oil for sautéing the onions and garlic
1 tbsp. butter for the cooked egg noodles
2 tbsp. kosher salt for the pasta water (if using table salt use 1/2 that much)
Salt and pepper to taste
Dried parsley and grated parmesan cheese for garnish

Directions:
In a large pot bring water to a rapid boil then add the salt and the egg noodle. Cook 2 minutes less than pkg. instructions, drain, but don't rinse. Set aside.
In a skillet over medium heat, add the oil and sauté the sliced onions for about 5 minutes until soft. Add the quartered smoked sausage and cook until it develops a light char. Add the garlic and stir about 1 minute until fragrant.
Add the cooked noodles and a pat of butter and toss well.
Salt and pepper to taste
Garnish with parsley and parmesan cheese.
Serve and enjoy!
