This is the second video in my series on how to improve your freestyle fundamental kayaking skills. This one focuses on edge control, balance, and bracing drills. Working the freestyle fundamentals in flatwater will make you a better kayaker and allow you to have more fun every day on the water. This was shot in Iowa and on the Ottawa River, Ontario. Enjoy!
As always, these techniques are a combination of my thoughts and experiences combined with ideas that I've stolen from other great instructors such as Eric Jackson, Billy Harris, and Sam Ward. Feel free to steal my ideas and use them to teach people to have more fun kayaking :)
