When rhythm guitarist Pat Smear joined Nirvana in 1993, the group’s already impressive stage presence became infinitely better. Although Pat flicking a cigar away probably isn’t the most awesome moment in Nirvana history (so stay tuned for part 2 maybe???), he still deserves the same amount of recognition everyone else in the band received back then and still receive today.
