Mamata Banerjee Accuses Election Commission Of Illegal SIR Practices In West Bengal | Breaking

Описание: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has accused the Election Commission of illegally using mobile applications linked to the BJP’s IT cell during the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. Speaking at Gangasagar, she alleged that eligible voters are being wrongly marked as dead, and elderly or incapacitated individuals are being forced to attend hearings. Banerjee called the process unconstitutional, undemocratic, and a source of fear and harassment for voters, warning that the matter may escalate to the Supreme Court.
