Rolling Line Christmas Layout 2025

Описание: There is something magical about a model train circling a Christmas tree, but space is always the final frontier for enthusiasts. This year, I decided to go “limitless” by moving a holiday project into the digital world using Rolling Line.

The software is a model train sandbox with almost no limits. There are layouts included with the program. You can run one of those or build your own. The included layouts are completely customizable. You can edit the track and scenery. Add different engines and rolling stock. If you start from scratch, you can make a small, simple loop or something as big as you can image. One of my layouts has a main line that takes 30 minutes for one lap at 62mph. That's 31 miles long.

You can watch a train run from any location or choose an engine and hop into the cab where you can blow the horn, toggle the lights, and manage the throttle.

You can run the software on a PC in full screen mode or in VR mode.

After a full year of tweaking, detailing, and testing, I’m thrilled to finally share the video of my completed Christmas layout in Rolling Line. I wish I had room for a real layout like this. Please enjoy it and have a Merry Christmas.
