FMV Footage from "Puffy: P.S. I Love You" A Japan only PS1 game released on March 11, 1999.
Puffy: P.S. I Love You is a game released in 1999 for the PlayStation, starring Japanese rock stars Puffy AmiYumi. The game was controlled using a light gun. Peculiarly enough, the title is a homage to The Beatles song "P.S. I Love You", from their Please Please Me album.
The gameplay used footage from a variety of PUFFY's concerts, to which players would shoot soda cans out of their cannons.
Another one of the in game videos used for this obscure Japan Only PS1 Novelty game. This being a live rendition of one of their most famous songs from the time period from their newly released "Jet CD" album. If you are wondering why the video is like this, in game normally it is covered by a strange border that takes up most of the screen, this is the original unaltered video with the side cameras focusing on the duo actually put on the side.
Yes it is very low resolution, not really much i can do to salvage the footage outside of AI upscaling it.
As a fan of this band, i wanted to upload a video of the FMV for archival purposes. I Do not own the content seen here and am not making a profit out of it, all rights go to Epic Records and Puffy as a band.
