Witkoff: Trump curious why Iran hasn't 'capitulated' under US naval pressure

Описание: In an interview for Fox News, US Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff revealed that the US President is "curious" why Iran hasn't "capitulated" despite the overwhelming US naval power massed in the region.

Witkoff proceeded to spell out exactly what Washington wants from Tehran: zero enrichment and all nuclear material removed from Iran, while also claiming that Iran is "probably a week away" from having industrial-grade bomb-making material.

Iran has flatly rejected both conditions. Tehran says nuclear material will not leave the country, and has ruled out any flexibility on zero enrichment.

Meanwhile, Iranian Leader Sayyed Ali Khamenei warned earlier this week that the warships Washington is counting on to pressure Iran can be sunk.
