In this episode, I run the bass through a series of simple, honest tone demonstrations to show what it really does — sustain, response, and that unmistakable short scale feel. No tricks, no hype — just listening to the instrument speak for itself.
And while the tone is already impressive, this is also the point in the build where you start to hear what could be better. I talk through a few areas I want to refine and improve — setting the stage for Part 5, where the goal is to take an already great instrument and make it exceptional.
