According to media reports, the DA could increase by 2%, rising from 58% to 60%. This increase may be implemented from the February salary, and the arrears for January could also be paid. This will be under the 7th Pay Commission, which is expected to be approved by the central cabinet.

केंद्र सरकार होली 2026 से पहले केंद्रीय कर्मचारियों को महंगाई भत्ते (DA) में बढ़ोतरी का तोहफा दे सकती है। मीडिया रिपोर्ट्स के अनुसार, डीए में 2% की वृद्धि हो सकती है, जिससे यह 58% से बढ़कर 60% हो जाएगा। यह बढ़ोतरी फरवरी की सैलरी से लागू होकर जनवरी का एरियर भी मिल सकता है। यह 7वें वेतन आयोग के तहत होगा, जिसकी मंजूरी केंद्रीय कैबिनेट से मिलने की उम्मीद है।
