For generations, the people of Weina on Djaul Island have lived without a single water tank. Every day was a struggle – mothers, fathers, and children praying and waiting for the day they would finally have access to clean water in their own community.

Today, that prayer has been answered. Through the generosity and vision of the Kitt Springs Foundation and its Founder, Mr. Richard Sapias, Weina received 2 x 5,000L water tanks – their very first.

This is more than just a gift. It is a heavenly touch, a long-awaited blessing that brings dignity, relief, and joy to families who have waited for years. The tears and smiles of our elders and children show what this means: clean water is life.
