With 3 days of growth, the razor had some stubble to work through. It took down most of it in the first pass.

I didn't get any irritation that lasted after the shave. And it was a nice, close cut.

I would put this as a medium setting or maybe just a touch higher. Of course, that's great, since it is level 3 of 5. You could give yourself some razor burn if your technique lapsed. But in general, it gives a close shave, with decent comfort... right where medium aggression should be, in my book.

The Personna blade continues to work well with this head, too.

Razor and Blade Performance/Comfort Rating: 4 out of 5 (Very Good)

Soap Notes - Cooper & French - Relentless:
Them: "slightly sweet, spicy scent rooted in robust hardwoods and leather balanced by honey"

Me: Woody and leather are there and easy to pick up.

Lather: Was a good one today. As usual with this base, the residual slickness is not superb. But otherwise I like the base. Very slick, and feels great in the brush and on the face.

Hydration: Dry End of Perfect (for me)

0.2 tsp soap with a Medium-Wet brush
5.1 tsp added to make lather
= 6 passes of lather

Brush Notes - Semogue - 1250 Boar (27 uses):
As usual, a light and soft brush with easy splay. Plush and luxurious filled with lather.

*Shave Quality*
During the Shave Feel:
Cheeks: Felt blade but comfortable
Neck: Felt blade but comfortable
After the Shave Closeness:
Cheeks: Near BBS - About as close as I'll ever get
Neck: Few hairs are showing some tip length (with most being cut flush)
