In this video I continue to develop my watercolor painting of garlic bulbs. My use of complementary colors really gives my painting light and form. Using my Winsor Newton Professional Watercolor Paints, I round the garlic bulbs, paint in a basic background, and drop in the colors of the stalks. I apply a bit more Pebeo masking fluid to the roots of the garlic bulbs. I can't do without both my Rosemary & Co brushes and Princeton Neptune Quill and Script brushes. Arches Watercolor Cold Press Block Paper is by far my favorite! This is part two of a three part painting series created for my watercolor students at the New England School of Fine Art.
